“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14
At the North Shore Bridge Church, we believe we must invest our very best into our children and youth. With each and every child, we have a precious opportunity to teach and impart God’s truth and to guide each child toward a life of loving and serving God.
We believe in impacting our children and youth significantly in their most impressionable years, helping them to understand the Gospel message, encouraging them to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and to learn and utilize the gifts that the Holy Spirit has bestowed upon them.
Our programs offer a number of different learning styles to ensure each child is reached. These include hands-on study of rocks to understand creation evidence, performing a mime or play to experience biblical stories, constructing a cloth “tabernacle” with the Holy of Holies for prayer and launching model rockets to illustrate intercessory prayer

Examples of other ongoing programs include:
Teaching what it means to be a disciple of Jesus; to know God's love and to have a personal relationship with Him through Christ; to know Him and to obey His laws because we love Him.
What it means to be led by the Spirit of God; knowing how to keep our focus in God, to have the mind of Christ which anchors us firmly in how to hear from God, to know His voice and thoughts, and to obey Him for our good.
Supplementary teaching includes: Visual aid pictures and display boards of the archeological and historical truth of the bible, creation evidence, Biblical holidays or special days (such as Pentecost, etc.)
Children are encouraged to share what they have learned with other children.
Singing the scriptures for memory practice and for creative expression.
Children prayer teams with adult supervision.
Art, dance, banners, creative music accompanying prayer and worship.
Our goal is to create an atmosphere where the Holy Spirit is free to move while at the same time imparting foundational biblical teaching. Our lesson plans are available each Sunday. We have materials and suggested book lists for parents as they work with their children at home throughout the week.
We have assembled a team of talented, dedicated and screened teachers and helpers, each with a unique calling to love, care for and train the children and youth of our church.
